We left Halifax Monday evening, stayed overnight in Toronto and flew out to Addis Ababa the next morning, a thirteen-hour flight. The flight went well and the Inverness County Cares travellers arrived in Lusaka, Zambia around 12:30 on (noon) Wednesday morning. We will spend two nights in Lusaka at the convent of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate (a polish order). A lovely place, clean and comfortable with great food. Today we picked up SIM cards and changed some funds into Zambian Kwacha. Tomorrow we will seek luggage solutions as the domestic flight to Mansa has different luggage allowances than our international flight.
Tonight, we will try and get our bodies back into a normal sleep and wake rhythm.
